23rd International Enamellers Congress

Florence 24th – 28th May 2015

C.I.S.P. – Centro Italiano Smalti Porcellanati (Italian Enamel Association) has been appointed to organize the next worldwide congress for the enamel industry.

The 23rd International Enamellers Congress will take place under the auspices of I.E.I., the International Enamellers Institute.

Technical academic lectures will be presented during the Congress. They will also be displayed through a poster session.

Within the framework of the offered factory tours participants will have the opportunity to visit leading companies in the enamel industry.

2. Pretreatment and Enamelling technologies

3. Enamelled surfaces functionalization

4. Nanotechnologies in Enamel coatings

5. Application processes

6. Firing and heat treatment

7. Enamel characterisation methodologies

8. Sustainability and energy savings

9. Legal aspects and regulations

10. Instruments for the measure of Enamel properties and process parameters

11. Market trends: products, markets, applications

12. Design and Enamels in Architecture

Abstracts must be maximum one page and must be written in English. They must contain, the title, the list of authors with affiliations and addresses and the preferred topic, the reasons of the choice of the selected theme, the aim of the work, a short description of the investigation methods and of the results. The relevance of the work must briefly outlined at the end.

It is suggested to add all authors at this step because modifications into the list of authors will not be permitted in the full text. Particular care must be given to typing all email addresses correctly.

Abstract must be named as follows: 1st Author-Surname.extension, ex.: Smith.doc(x) and be suitable for a 30 minutes oral presentation. Abstracts must be submitted to: cisp@cisp.it

The closing date for lecture applications is January 31st 2014.

Feedback:

§ Examination and confirmation of acceptance by the Scientific and Technical Committee will be notified within the end of February 2014

Complete work must be submitted within September 15th 2014 in English and mother tongue (if your mother tongue is Italian, German or Chinese).

Papers will be recommended for oral or poster presentation. All the accepted papers will be published online given authors’ permission. Selected papers will also be published on C.I.S.P. Magazine “Smalto Porcellanato” (also available in English).

Further translations of the lectures will be provided by National Associations. Simultaneous translation will be available during the Congress. Each participant will however receive all lectures in printed form, in one of the Congress languages (English, Italian or German).
